Tour of Dublin with a local guide

and history to tell. We invite you to see the beauty, friendliness,
culture and fun that our capital is renowned for and discover
how it began from a very modest background. Take a tour
and visit Dublin's most popular sights, learn about the
history of Dublin, and hear tales and stories of life in
Dublin.

2 (Wednesday)
Cycle tour of the Wicklow Mountains including Glendalough
The Wicklow Mountains are
the largest upland area in Ireland and are a refuge for
plant and animal life. Because of its varied scenery, Wicklow
is particularly suitable for cycling vacations. The quickly
changing landscape, the unspoiled ambience and a myriad
of small side roads offer a special holiday bonus to the
adventurous cyclist. Glendalough means
"The Glen of the Two Lakes"
- a must on any visitor's itinerary. This early Christian
settlement in this beautiful valley, founded by St. Kevin
in the 6th century, is one of the most important of such
sites in Ireland.

Bus tour to Kilkenny including Kilkenny Castle, Rock of
Cashel
and Cahir Castle. Finish in Killarney
The medieval city of Kilkenny
is acclaimed internationally as a centre for craft and design.
It is characterised by many beautifully restored buildings
and winding slipways - it is small and compact enough to
explore on foot, yet full of fascinating historical buildings
and contemporary shops, design galleries and restaurants.
Kilkenny Castle is one of the most magnificent
castles in Ireland built by the Normans during the 12th
century. The Rock of Cashel is a spectacular
group of medieval buildings set on an outcrop of limestone
including the 12th century Round Tower,
High Cross and Romanesque Chapel,
a 13th century Gothic Cathedral, 15th century
Castle and the restored Hall of the Vicars Choral.
Cahir Castle is one of the largest, best
preserved castles in Ireland and is situated on a rocky
island outcrop in the middle of the River Suir. It represents
the pinnacle of medieval skill.

Cycle tour of Beara Peninsula, Kerry.
Beara Peninsula is
the southernmost of the main peninsulas on the south-west
coast. The main tourist attractions are the ruins of Dunboy
Castle and Derreen Gardens. The peninsula's rugged and spectacular
scenery is there to be enjoyed by the adventurous cyclist.

Cycle tour of the Gap of Dunloe, Kerry.
The
Gap“is a narrow pass between the MacGuillycuddy
Reeks and is one of the most beautifully glaciated
valleys in Western Europe. This stop sets the ideal scene
for a Summer's walk or cycle and is a great way to discover
some of County Kerry's hidden gems.

Cycle tour of Dingle Peninsula
Cycle
tour of Dingle Peninsula with its unique
archaeological monuments. Bus tour to Lisdoonvarna via the
majestic Cliffs of Moher rising up 214
metres above the Atlantic Ocean.

7 (Monday)
Cycle tour of the Burren
The
Burren is a fantastic landscape composed of karstic
limestone whose formation has remained unspoilt since the
ice-age. The name "Burren" is from the Irish "bhoireann"
meaning a rocky place. The Burren in its sparse and lonely
beauty is probably best known for its rare flora and fauna
that can be grown in its perfect soil.

8 (Tuesday)
Cycle tour of Connemara, The “Savage Beauty”
Connemara
is said to be the real emerald of Ireland. This
natural terrain and unspoilt environment offers the visitor
a wonderland of sights, experiences, adventure and activities.
The people are warm, friendly and extend a hospitality which
is the essence of Ireland.

Bus tour from Westport to Donegal via Achill Island,
Belmullet, Sligo and Bundoran
Donegal
is a beautiful town which is famous for its 15th
century castle, tweeds and traditional music. Achill
Island and Belmullet are nice
peninsulas.

10 (Thursday)
Cycle tour of the Glens, Donegal.
Ireland's most northerly county,
Donegal, is renowned for its beautiful scenery,
coastline, impressive mountain ranges, deep glens and lakes
and rich reminders of a historic past. Ireland's quiet green
hills are laced with little roads and pathways that will
take you from one enchanted place to another. Cycling over
Donegal's windswept hills and through its shady glens will
reward you with more than just a sample taste of one of
the most unspoilt landscapes in Europe.

11 (Friday)
Bus tour to Belfast
This bus tour will take you via (1)
Dunluce Castle, one of the most extensive
ruins of medieval castle on the island, (2) Giant's
Causeway, an area of 40.000 interlocking basalt
columns resulting from a volcanic eruption, (3) The Carrick-a-Rede
Rope Bridge and (4) Bushmills Distillery,
a traditional Irish distillery where you can enjoy a nice
glass of whisky.
