This is important information relating to the hire of a
bicycle, and the reservation or payment of a short break
or tour.
Bike Hire
Your
Bike Hire price includes a bicycle, lock and repair kit.
Upgrades
& Extras
Paniers, handle-bar bags, luggage trailers, tandems, car
racks, tagalongs, child seats, child carriers and child
trailers.
Cancellations
and Refunds
If you cancel your rental reservation, you must notify us by phone,
in writing or by email. Please note that all cancellation fees
are "per person." All refunds will be processed within
7 days of receipt of your cancellation.
For
all cancellations, we will refund you the cost of your Bike Hire
less a 10% per person cancellation fee. There is no refund for
returning your bike or ending your short break early or arriving
late. Please note that we do not make any refunds for any unused
portion of your Bike Hire period.
West
Ireland Cycling reserves the right to make changes to itineraries,
and prices due to unforeseen circumstances including weather.
All efforts are made to keep any route changes minimal.
West Ireland Cycling reserves the right to decline a reservation
or to refuse service to anyone.
Charges
and Transfers
An administrative charge of 30Euro per person applies to
any changes to a reservation. To transfer a reservation
to another tour date within 30 days prior to your original
departure date, a 100Euro per person administrative charge
applies.All
changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Gratuities
Gratuities for West Ireland Cycling tour guides are not
required but are always appreciated but are entirely at
your own discretion.
Accommodation
Tour prices are per person sharing B&B Accommodation.
Solo travelers will be assigned a roommate of the same gender.
Single rooms are available on a limited basis at an additional
fee. We may not be able to honor private room requests during
certain peak periods. For late bookings (less than 30 days
prior to departure), solo travelers will be charged an additional
fee that will be refunded if a roommate is later assigned.
Family
Rooms can be requested for families with 2 adults and 2
children. Family Rooms may not be available at all locations
on our tours.
Children
Children of any age are welcome on any of our tours if accompanied
by a responsible adult (parent / guardian for children under
12).
Medical
Services
Medical services or facilities may not be readily available
or accessible during all or part of your tour. You are responsible
to select a tour appropriate to your abilities and interest.
You are responsible for being in sufficient good health
to undertake the tour, to prepare for the tour by studying
the itinerary on the web site or pre-departure materials
that may be sent to you by West Ireland Cycling, and for
bringing the appropriate clothing and equipment for your
tour.
West
Ireland Cycling reserves the right to take photographic or film
records of any of its tours, and to use any such photographic
or film records for promotional and/or commercial purposes.
West
Ireland Cycling Group Travel Discount
You tour for FREE when you bring 15 or more friends along with
you on a West Ireland Cycling tour; bring 20 or more friends and
you and another member of the tour group will travel for FREE!
